Background

This and other later articles are written about my AI learning. I signed up the online program named SpringBoard for learning machine learning and deep learning. They give me some curriculum, and I am going to make an AI model through more than one project. Considering data and output are also decided by myself. First of all, I write about selecting the project theme in this article.

Project target

At first, I checked what data there are then I thought what I could do from the data. SpringBoard offered information that I should look at.

- Kaggle

- fast.ai research datasets collection

- Google dataset search

- AWS open datasets repository

- Uber Movement

- Yelp dataset

- Inside Airbnb

- coco Dataset

- KITTI Dataset

I realized that the environment for studying AI was very fullness. As there were much-organized data, it was so helpful, but it was difficult to find and to select them. I chose three data on my curious.

- Bitcoin Price Prediction

- Find the Movie They’re Looking for

- Airbnb Price Prediction in Seattle

The good point of SpringBoard is that all students can have a mentor who is an expert of AI engineer. I also consulted him when I chose one from these three themes, and Airbnb Price Prediction was made my project theme. There were two reasons; it was a moderate difficulty for beginner and I was interested in it because of my working in the travel industry. To think simply, the price of accommodation can be predicted from accommodates and place. I looked forward to the prediction by ML/DL.

The modelling continues in the next article.
